A bespoke application hosted on McConnell's own mcconnell.co.uk domain and embedded within the SHEQ site on your SharePoint intranet, so staff access it from where they already work. It automates certificate handling, expiry tracking and training compliance, reducing the manual workload for HR, the SHEQ team and the training co-ordinator. It is built so it can later form the first module of the wider H&S system.
At present a single certificate is handled several times by different people. The process is reduced to one step, with the remaining work performed automatically.
Removes the manual filing and copying of certificates between folders. Confidential records remain restricted; only the certificate is shared with compliance.
Replaces the spreadsheet with a reliable compliance record that is maintained automatically, removing manual upkeep and the risk of errors.
Removes manual chasing and re-keying. Actions are presented as a clear list of what to book, for whom and by when.
